 BEAUTY BUFFET NYC is a reflection of the remarkable journey of our founder, Mayeth de Villa—a story of resilience, transformation, and the power of beauty. From her humble beginnings in Marinduque, Philippines, to an unexpected school trip to the United States, Mayeth’s path was anything but easy. With minimal resources but unshakable determination, she decided to stay in the U.S. and build a brighter future.

Her life took shape through the kindness of strangers and a supportive community. Working for a generous family who treated her like their own, Mayeth pursued her studies part-time and became an Occupational Therapist. It was during this time, while caring for the elderly, that she discovered the therapeutic power of beauty. A simple moment—applying red lipstick to an elderly woman and witnessing her joy—sparked a passion to help others feel confident and radiant.

 Determined to make her mark, Mayeth undertook studies in aesthetics, mastering facial therapy and permanent makeup. With the unwavering support of her husband, Sonny, she opened BEAUTY BUFFET NYC, a skin clinic that embodies her belief in beauty as a therapeutic and empowering tool.

Today, Mayeth is a well-respected esthetician in New York, and BEAUTY BUFFET NYC has grown into a thriving business with devoted clients- a testament to the transformative power of beauty, inspired by a woman who turned every challenge into a stepping stone for success.
